Kayla Klym is a Project Coordinator at Synergy Enterprises. In 2020, she graduated from the University of Victoria (UVic) with a Bachelor of Science degree in geography, resource management, and urban economics.
Kayla’s professional journey began at the University of Victoria, where she worked for two years, contributing her skills to lab coordination and administrative assistance at interdisciplinary research labs. Her time there was marked by significant contributions to renewable energy academic research and project coordination, including conducting research on community-based renewable energy projects in British Columbia.
Kayla transitioned to her current Project Coordinator role at Synergy Enterprises in 2023. In this role, she assists with developing sustainability-focused workshops, technical assistance for greenhouse gas inventories, regenerative tourism projects, and qualitative report writing.
Outside of work, she enjoys running alongside the ocean, collecting beach glass, and trying every vanilla latte in Victoria.
