Jess is driven by a desire to support others in achieving their personal and professional goals. After obtaining a BA in Social Justice and Peace Studies and a Post-Degree Diploma in Social Service Work, Jess began her journey west by initially entering the world of higher education, where she held positions in administrative support and marketing & student recruitment. An entrepreneurial spirit led Jess from there into the coffee industry and, most recently, to a meaningful career in restaurant management, where a passion for hospitality and developing impactful workplaces settled her here in Victoria.
Jess approaches her work managing Synergy’s dynamic operations, including its highly skilled and hardworking team, with attention to the human experience. She is excited by opportunities to shape organizational processes, develop business and workforce capacity, and support Synergy’s important work.
Growing up on a farm was the backdrop to a childhood full of outdoor adventures. These days, Jess recharges by doing yoga, reading, walking through Beacon Hill Park, and catching up with friends on dog-friendly patios.
